The Student Academic System is the information system to serve any student and teacher/lecturer's needs. The difference between SIAKAD and SAKTI is the target users. SIAKAD is designed for administration purposes and SAKTI is designed for public users. The reason behind the separation is to break the complexity of development and make it easier to apply security features without reducing the user conveniences. SAKTI also released at the same time with SIAKAD and has been on service since then without any major issues. Both applications successfully changed (in a good way) how the university managed. 100% paperless but also paper print available if any special need, usually been requested by external. Reducing queue for administration services. Fully online class registration from anywhere and anytime. Also increasing efficiency for calculating works so the rules can be applied better.
