Academic System is information system used by university to manage any student needs like courses, schedules, lecturer, attendaces, and grades.

Academic System is not managing student data entry, all student data come from Student Submission System who take responsibilty to make sure student data is complete and verified. After student completed submission processes, Student Submission System has ability to send over student data to Academic System also indicate it's job is done. Even thought academic system has no need to do student data entry, but it has ability to change anyhing belong to student if needed.

Academic system only managing lecturer in term of lecturing, like lecturing enrolment, schedules, lecture attendaces and lecturing load. Lecturer also can access courses documents like syllabus, references, or older course presentation that uploaded by academic form this system.

Courses also the main object managed by Academic System. Only Academic System in the integrated system environment who can modify Courses. Academic system manage courses data like courses requirements, linked former course (history course), and course documents.

Student enrollment managed by 2 different applications. First, student has ability to choose by their own what course to be attend for the next semester from Student Academic System (SAS). But in the special conditions, Academic System also has ability to manage student enrollment. Academic System also has ability to control student registration managed by SAS to determine what course, when and who student can register in course.

Academic System manage schedule to meet Courses with Lecturers and Student. In the schedule menus, user can define what, when and where course will be held. Who will lecturing, or even team teaching. And what program be able to register.

Student and Lecturer attendances mainly provided and in charge of lecturer in the Student Academic System (SAS). SAS has 3 ways to entry student attendance. First is manually entry by lectrurer, import using QR code scanned by student application, and the last is importing using API from Moodle learning management system.

First of all, student score submited by lecturer from Student Academic System, then the rest is managed in Academic System. Lecturer entry student score numerically and all the grading process is done by Academic System. Almost anything related with student grades, done automatically by Academis System, like grading based on average scores, defining best grade if student take same class twice or more, defining student passed the class or not, and manage score revisions in case of needed.

Each semester, student can provide feedback about the classed held or the lecturer who teached. This process take place when grade processing are completed and been publish to student. Before student allowed to view their semester result, student has to complete few questions to give feedback. Student feedbacks are huge size of data, then managed, processed, and displayed in the simple form by Academic System. Users can access feedback report clearly and realtime, even thought not all student finished feedback forms yet.
